What we collect

Nothing. OrangeBubbles has no sign-up, account, telemetry, crash reporting, advertising SDK, or company database. We do not have a record of users, wallets, balances, or transactions.

Where your data lives

• Your keys are generated on your device and never leave it unencrypted.
• Your encrypted wallet backup is stored in your own iCloud Drive and iCloud Keychain. We cannot read it.
• Your transaction history is derived on your device from the public Bitcoin blockchain.
• Cards you send in Messages travel through Apple’s Messages service like any other message.

Services the app uses directly

Public Bitcoin APIs. OrangeBubbles uses public providers, currently mempool.space and blockstream.info, to read the blockchain, estimate fees, show prices, and broadcast transactions. Those providers can observe your IP address and the addresses you query under their own privacy policies. We do not send them identity information or wallet-level identifiers such as extended public keys.

Apple. iCloud stores and syncs your encrypted backup, and Messages carries the cards you share. These services are governed by your Apple account settings and Apple’s privacy policy.

This website

This site does not set cookies or run analytics. Its payment-card fallback pages process link details locally in your browser to display them. Gift-link secrets are never displayed, stored, or transmitted by this site.

Your responsibility

OrangeBubbles is self-custodial. We cannot recover, freeze, or move funds for anyone, including you. Your wallet can be restored through your iCloud account while its encrypted backup is available. Gift links are bearer instruments: anyone with the link can claim the funds.
